About
Invicta Racing, a trading name of Norfolk Racing Team Ltd, was founded in 2012 – then competing as Virtuosi Racing in the Auto GP series.
Based in Attleborough, UK, the team has been a successful mainstay on the global racing scene ever since, building up a long list of accomplishments since its inception.
Initially competing in Auto GP, the team would later branch out into the GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2), where Formula One stars of the future learnt their trade.
Virtuosi Racing took over the running of the Russian Time team in 2014, with which it won the FIA Formula 2 Teams' Championship in 2017.
For the start of the 2019 season, the squad was taken in-house to form UNI-Virtuosi Racing, finishing second in the FIA Formula 2 Teams' Championship in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons.
In 2024, Invicta Watch Group acquired a majority shareholding in Norfolk Racing Team Ltd, signalling the start of a new era for the team as Invicta Racing.
Harnessing the team's racing pedigree and invincible team spirit with a fresh energy, the newly rebranded outfit secured the FIA Formula 2 Teams’ and Drivers' Championships that same year.
In 2025, Invicta Racing recruited Italian star and reigning FIA Formula 3 Champion, Leonardo Fornaroli, alongside Czech Formula 2 race winner Roman Staněk, aiming to retain both titles.
