With the title fight heating up, Invicta Racing heads to the Middle East for the penultimate round of the 2025 FIA Formula 2 Championship at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.
Invicta Racing endured a challenging weekend last time out in Baku, showing strong pace, but facing several setbacks. The team secured 14 points across the weekend to help extend its advantage in both title fights.

The Lusail International Circuit is renowned for its fast, flowing nature. Offering a mix of long, sweeping bends and technical braking zones, the track is both rewarding and demanding for drivers. The main straight takes up a kilometre of the track and provides plenty of overtaking opportunities.
Key corners
-
Turn 1: The high-speed right-hander comes at the end of the fastest section of the track and feeds into a tricky left-hand turn.
-
Turn 6: The slowest corner on the track where drivers need to have a good exit to maximise their entry into the following flat-out corners.
-
Turns 12-14: The final sector begins with a triple right-hand apex where drivers will almost be flat out throughout the sequence. This will be particularly challenging on tyres.

James Robinson, TEAM PRINCIPAL
“The end of the season is fast approaching and every point counts at this stage. Lusail is an unknown for both our drivers, which isn’t ideal at this stage of the title battle – especially with several others in the fight having raced here last year. Our focus is on maximising performance and putting ourselves in the best possible position heading into the final round in Abu Dhabi next week.”
