Invicta Racing continues a double-header in the Middle East with Round 3 of the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
After securing his maiden FIA Formula 2 pole position and Feature Race podium, Leonardo Fornaroli departed Bahrain in the lead of the drivers’ standings. Despite displaying strong pace during Qualifying, securing fifth on the grid, Roman Stanek was unable to fight for the points paying positions after struggling with tyre degradation in both races.

On the shores of the Red Sea, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is the second-longest on the 2025 FIA Formula 2 calendar, and one of the fastest. The temporary street circuit has rolling sequences of quick corners, high-speed full-throttle sections and walls lining the sides of the track, meaning drivers will require precision and bravery in equal measure.

We head straight on to Jeddah to round out our first double-header of the year. It will be key to avoid mistakes across the weekend, as there is very little room for error due to the nature of the circuit. Although temperatures are set to be high again, the demands will be different compared to what we experienced in Bahrain. Last time out, we showed strong pace in Qualifying but struggled to maintain that on the longer runs, so we will be looking to maximise results in all sessions this weekend.
