The 2026 FIA Formula 2 campaign gets underway for Invicta Racing with the Australian season opener at Albert Park, with an all-new driver line-up of Rafael Câmara and Joshua Dürksen.
Invicta Racing hit the track for the first time this season with three days of testing from 17-19 February at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Rafael Câmara and Joshua Dürksen got up to speed with this season’s Invicta Racing car, setting competitive lap times and laying solid foundations for the 14-round campaign ahead.

Winding its way through Melbourne’s leafy parkland, the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit loops around the scenic lake that sits at the heart of the venue.
A revised layout introduced in 2022 reshaped the track with the focus placed firmly on overtaking. With more DRS zones than any other circuit on the calendar, drivers are rarely short of opportunities to go wheel-to-wheel.
KEY CORNERS
-
Turns 1&2: Heavy braking at the end of the main straight makes this the first major passing chance of the lap.
-
Turn 3: Another significant braking event, offering a second prime overtaking opportunity early in the lap.
-
Turns 9&10: A long DRS run feeds into this ultra-fast sequence, creating one of the best chances to make a move.

Meanwhile, 2026 Invicta Racing driver Joshua Dürksen made his way from second on the grid up onto the top step of the podium. On that same weekend, Rafael Câmara won the FIA Formula 3 Feature Race.

“It’s great to arrive in Melbourne as reigning Teams’ and Drivers’ champions, but everything is reset at the start of a new season so we can’t take anything for granted. That being said, Melbourne was a particularly good weekend for us last year, as well as for our current drivers who won races in both Formula 2 and Formula 3. As always, we’re going to be giving it everything to start this year in the best way possible.”
