Invicta Racing is proud to have secured back-to-back FIA Formula 2 Teams’ Championship titles after a season defined by teamwork, consistency, and a host of standout performances across an ultra-competitive fourteen-round campaign.
The Norfolk-based outfit enjoyed one of its strongest F2 seasons to date, leading the standings from Round 9 in Spa-Francorchamps and never relinquishing that advantage. Over the year, the team scored podium finishes at ten rounds, including five race victories, along with five pole positions, surpassing its 2024 points total.
Rookie Leonardo Fornaroli, who secured the 2025 Drivers’ Championship last time out in Qatar, made an immediate impact, taking a Sprint Race podium on debut in Melbourne and securing pole position in Sakhir. Further podiums in Monaco, Spielberg, and Silverstone, where he also claimed the team’s first win of the season, underscored his rapid adaptation to the series.
Team-mate Roman Stanek also enjoyed an excellent campaign, including a memorable Feature Race win in Spa-Francorchamps and further podiums in Spielberg, Silverstone and Hungary, adding vital points to Invicta Racing’s tally.
The team’s most dominant weekends came in Spa-Francorchamps and Budapest with 49 points amassed at each event, including a double victory at Spa and a dominant 1–2 finish in Hungary.
At the final round in Abu Dhabi, Roman secured the team’s first points of the weekend by taking pole position in Qualifying, with Leonardo setting the third fastest time. After being forced to take evasive action when a competitor stalled on the grid, neither driver managed to secure points in the Sprint race.
By contrast, an ultra-competitive Feature race saw Roman finish P3 on the road, before a time penalty for the driver ahead promoted him to P2. That result sealed the Teams’ Championship for Invicta Racing and elevated the Czech driver to P10 in the final Drivers’ Standings.
Leonardo, on the alternate strategy, led for much of the race before making a late stop on Lap 31. He rejoined outside of the points and finished P11.
By claiming top honours for a second consecutive season, Invicta Racing becomes only the second team in the history of the modern FIA Formula 2 Championship to score back-to-back Teams’ titles, further cementing its winning legacy at the pinnacle of junior single-seater racing.

I’ve worked in motorsport for 20 years, and these are the most talented and hardworking people I've ever encountered. It's been an absolute joy to work with them all season – not just in the good moments, but the difficult ones also. I’m delighted for every single one of my team-mates, but especially Roman and his side of the garage today. Finishing the season with a podium to confirm the Teams’ Championship is a very fitting way to end a fantastic campaign.”
