The 2025 FIA Formula 2 season is set to continue in the desert for Round 2 at the Bahrain International Circuit, where Invicta Racing will look to continue its momentum from the season opener in Australia.
Invicta Racing got the 2025 Formula 2 season underway at Albert Park in fine form, with both drivers securing a top five finish in the Sprint Race and Leonardo Fornaroli securing the team’s first podium of the season. Both Leonardo and Roman Stanek displayed strong pace throughout the weekend, but a cancelled Feature Race on Sunday due to inclement weather meant there was no representative running in those conditions.

The Bahrain International Circuit has a mixture of fast and slow corners, with four long straights. The challenging layout won’t be the only thing that the drivers will have to manage, as Bahrain features one of the most abrasive surfaces on the calendar, leading to heavy tyre degradation.

After a few weeks away from the track, we are ready to continue the season at Bahrain international Circuit. Bahrain provides a challenge to teams and drivers with the high temperatures and tyre management demands, but we’ve already had some time to prepare after completing in-season testing here not too long ago. There’s lots to be optimistic about heading into this round as it marks the start of a double header.
