The 2025 FIA Formula 2 season embarks on its European leg with Round 4 in Imola – a homecoming for Leonardo Fornaroli.
Leonardo and Roman Stanek showed promising pace in Saudi Arabia, both qualifying in the top 10 and collecting 18 points between them across the weekend.
Despite both races being interrupted by Safety Car periods, the team was also able to gain further understanding of its race pace ahead of a trio of consecutive race weekends to come.

One of the most iconic circuits on the calendar, Imola is steeped in history. Renowned for its elevation changes and technical chicanes, overtaking opportunities can be limited, but the narrow and twisty nature of the circuit means that Safety Car appearances are likely to shake up the order.

Imola marks the start of the European leg and a triple-header, so it’s going to be a demanding few weeks ahead. It’s a challenging circuit, but both drivers have plenty of experience which can help us continue our learnings this season. We have seen that the car has pace in Qualifying and we’ll be looking to transfer this into all sessions so that we can fight well within the points.
