As the 2025 FIA Formula 2 Championship reaches its halfway point, Invicta Racing heads to Spielberg, Austria, for Round 7 at the Red Bull Ring.
Rounding out a demanding triple-header, the Barcelona weekend proved a challenging one for Invicta Racing. Despite showing promising pace from the outset, the team left Spain with just two points added to its tally.

Nestled in the scenic Styrian hills, the Red Bull Ring is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes, high-speed straights, and heavy braking zones.
The demanding middle sector challenges drivers to find the perfect balance, often making or breaking a lap. With several overtaking opportunities, the Austrian circuit consistently delivers exciting racing.
Key corners
-
Turn 1: The Niki Lauda Curve is a track limits hotspot. Carry too much speed and you’ll run wide over the exit kerb.
-
Turn 3: A tight right-hand hairpin which is a prime overtaking spot after a long DRS straight. Traction on exit is crucial.
-
Turn 9: The penultimate turn is a high-speed challenge where commitment must be balanced with control. A small mistake here can easily lead to a lap time deletion.
