Montréal was the setting for Round 3 of the campaign and, despite strong qualifying results for both drivers, Câmara scored the team’s only points of the weekend in the Sprint Race.

Dürksen’s Sprint, meanwhile, was curtailed by contact and an eventful Feature Race meant that neither driver finished inside the top ten.

Even so, Invicta Racing left Canada occupying strong championship positions. The team enters the Monaco weekend fourth in the standings, just 17 points shy of the top of the table.

The two points Câmara took from the Sprint were enough to move him into second in the Drivers’ Championship, while Dürksen sits P10.

Located on the French Riviera, the Circuit de Monaco is the ultimate challenge in street racing and places the primary focus of the weekend on qualifying, more so than any other circuit.

With just one DRS zone, overtaking is at a premium, and the real test for the drivers becomes navigating 19 technical corners without sliding into the unforgiving barriers.

KEY CORNERS

  • Turn 1: At the end of the track’s only DRS zone, the first corner is one of very few realistic overtaking opportunities.

  • Turn 6: This hairpin is the slowest corner on the calendar and one of the most recognisable corners in motorsport.

  • Turns 10: After exiting the tunnel, the entry to Turn 10 is another spot where overtaking is theoretically possible, but to do so requires commitment and bravery in equal measure.

TRACK STATS

  • Length: 2.074 miles / 3.337km

  • Turns: 19

  • DRS zones: 1

  • Sprint Race laps: 30

  • Feature Race laps: 42

Monaco has been a happy hunting ground for Invicta Racing in the past, with Gabriel Bortoleto securing second in the 2024 Sprint and Leonardo Fornaroli also finishing second in the 2025 Feature Race.

Both current Invicta Racing drivers have competed at Monaco in the past and are familiar with its intricacies, with Câmara securing points in the FIA Formula 3 Sprint Race last year.

JAMES ROBINSON, TEAM PRINCIPAL

“Montréal was a tough event for us, but the true measure of a great team is how you bounce back from weekends like that, and Monaco provides us with the first opportunity to do just that. We’re still in great positions in both championships, and we’ve been able to pick up podiums on each of our previous visits to this very special circuit, so we’re hoping to use that experience to good effect and be up at the front again this weekend.”
