Invicta Racing secured solid points on home soil at Silverstone Circuit, with Rafael Câmara and Joshua Dürksen finishing fifth and ninth in the Feature Race and the latter one place better in the Sprint.

Rafael secured his third pole position of the season in Qualifying, ultimately finishing 1.2 seconds off the podium in fifth after a clutch anomaly saw him drop several places at the start, contributing to a challenging opening stint.

After securing a points finish by placing eighth in the Sprint Race, Joshua ran on the alternate strategy in the Feature Race to finish ninth at the flag.

Invicta Racing enters the second half of the season in fourth in the Teams’ Championship, with Rafael third and Joshua 15th in the Drivers’ Standings.

Acclaimed as one of motorsport’s most legendary venues, the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps requires no introduction.

The track’s flowing, high-octane layout carves through the Ardennes forest at high speed, while notoriously unpredictable weather adds an extra element of strategic complexity at an already formidable circuit.

KEY CORNERS

  • Turns 1-2: The combination of Eau Rouge and Raidillon is one of motorsport’s most iconic corner sequences and demands full commitment from drivers in preparation for the Kemmel Straight.

  • Turn 11: This left-hander may appear to be straightforward upon turn-in, however, a gravel trap on exit ensures its reputation as one of Spa’s most unforgiving corners.

  • Turn 17: Securing a clean run through this fast left-hand kink is critical as drivers set up the closing stages of the lap on approach to Spa’s final braking zone.

TRACK STATS

  • Length: 4.35 miles / 7.004km

  • Turns: 19

  • DRS zones: 2

Spa was the site of Invicta Racing’s most dominant race weekend in 2025, with the team tasting victory in both the Sprint and Feature Races.

Both Invicta Racing drivers have raced at Spa before, with Rafael scoring points at the Belgian circuit  in FIA Formula 3 while Joshua finished inside the top 10 in FIA Formula 2 in 2024.

JAMES ROBINSON, TEAM PRINCIPAL

“Spa is a legendary circuit and as arguably one of the best events on the 2026 calendar, so we’re very much looking forward to racing there this weekend. The past few rounds have told a similar story for us as a team – we’ve shown promise but haven’t always converted our potential into outright results. With three pole positions in the past four weekends, there’s no doubt that our one lap pace is strong, but we need to extract more from the races. At this stage of the season, we aren’t quite where we want to be, but we know that as a team, we have all the right ingredients to be in the hunt. Spa is our first opportunity to fight back now that we’re in the second half of the season, but we need to hit the ground running. If we can minimise our mistakes and maximise our opportunities, I don't see why we can’t be in contention.”
