With the 2026 FIA Formula 2 season firmly in its second half, Invicta Racing heads to Madrid, Spain, for the all-new Madring circuit’s debut weekend
Invicta Racing returned to the top step of the FIA Formula 2 podium at Monza, with Joshua Dürksen claiming victory in both the Sprint and Feature races.
Having completed an all-Invicta Racing front-row lockout in Qualifying, the Paraguayan stormed through the field in the reverse grid Sprint to win and followed it up a day later in the Feature to equal the record for most Formula 2 victories in the modern era.
Rafael Câmara, meanwhile, had another strong weekend for his title aspirations, despite retiring from the Sprint after contact from behind.
After starting from pole in the Feature, the Invicta Racing duo battled for honours, and although Joshua crossed the line first, Rafael reduced the deficit to Nikola Tsolov to just 11 points with four rounds remaining.
As the 2026 campaign enters its final third, Invicta Racing holds second in the Teams’ Championship while Rafael sits second and Joshua eighth in the Drivers’ Standings.

Featuring 22 corners and characterised by sweeping elevation changes, the Madring is set to serve as a spectacular backdrop for Round 11 of the 2026 season.
With a mixture of low-, medium-, and high-speed corners and two long straights, the Madring will test every aspect of car setup, making the preparation phase for the weekend critical.

Turn 1: As one of the heaviest braking events of the lap, Turn 1 represents one of the best overtaking opportunities at the Madring.

Turns 12: At half a kilometre long and with 24% banking, the right-hand La Monumental will place high stress on tyre performance mid-way through the lap.

Turn 22: Securing a clean exit through the final corner will be critical to optimising lap time and securing a good run down the start/finish straight.
