FAQS:

Q: How are the F2 standings calculated?

A: With several ways to score points during a Formula 2 weekend, the maximum number of points that can potentially be scored is 39. Here’s how drivers can score those points:

Qualifying – the first points of the weekend are allocated on Friday, with two points awarded for pole position.

Sprint Race – the top eight classified drivers are awarded points on a scale of 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. An additional point is awarded to the driver with the fastest lap if they finish in the top 10.

Feature Race – the largest number of points are given out on a Sunday, where the top 10 finishers will score points on a scale of 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. Once again, an additional point is awarded to the driver with the fastest lap if they finish in the top 10.

Q: When is the next Formula 2 race?

A: The next F2 race will be Baku, Azerbaijan on 19-21 September.
